All of our huntable land is surrounded by numerous agricultural fields, farms and woodlots consisting of various types of hardwoods, mature pines, clear cuts and second growth fields. The agriculture in the surrounding area varies from corn and peas to soy bean and peanuts, along with fields of millet, sorghum, and numerous hay fields. The Little Salkahatchee River is also nearby, thus providing the wildlife with the ultimate mix of year round sources of food, water, and habitat.
